minimize internal risks by enabling you to detect, investigate, and act on malicious and inadvertent activities in your organization.
Insider Risk policies allow you to define the types of risks to identify and detect in your organization, including acting on cases and escalating cases to Microsoft Advanced eDiscovery if needed. Risk analysts in your organization can quickly take appropriate actions to make sure users are compliant with your organization’s compliance standards.
NOTE: Customers ordering products designated for Non-profit organizations through the CSP program must first establish a tenant with Microsoft. Non-profit customers who have not already done so are required to go through a quick registration process at
www.microsoft/nonprofit. Once they are approved they will be assigned a Non-profit tenant and will be eligible to purchase Non-profit designated products.
Microsoft Security Defaults
Microsoft began turning Security Defaults on for all net new customer tenants on Feb. 29, 2020, and as a result, multifactor authentication (MFA) is turned on for those customers. Generally, the Security Defaults are only a hard requirement for Partner tenants and not customer tenants. To turn the Defaults off for your customer, go to Admin Centers>Azure Active Directory>Azure Active Directory (Again)>Properties>Manage Security Defaults>Toggle to No.
