Important Microsoft Audio Conferencing Update
Please note that Audio Conferencing is NOT automatically included in New Commerce Experience versions of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 suites. While it is being offered as a free feature, partners will need to order the new $0 Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing select dial-out SKU, which is expected to be added to the Pax8 catalog on March 1. This new offer includes unlimited toll dial-in minutes, 60 dial-out minutes to United States and Canada phone numbers pooled at the tenant level (regardless of tenant location), and Operator Connect Conferencing.
E5 suites are not impacted as they already included Audio Conferencing and no change is made.
Customers adding the $0 Audio Conferencing select dial-out supplemental SKU will be unable to associate a Communications Credits account with those users until April 1, 2022. This does not impact the ability to acquire the $0 SKU, assign the license to users, or utilize the included unlimited toll dial-in minutes and the included 60 dial-out minutes/user/month (pooled) to the US and Canada.
Microsoft Office 365 G1 GCC provides all the functionality of its enterprise counterpart (Office 365 Enterprise E1) but is hosted in a separate, secured environment and adds compliance features like accreditations, personnel screening, and data residency that enable the service to meet the unique needs of US Government customers. State and local government customers that require compliance-level data protection and security can also take advantage of Office 365 GCC G1.
Eligibility and Validation: Office 365 Government plans are available to (1) qualified government entities, including US federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government entities, and (2) other entities (subject to validation of eligibility) who handle data subject to government regulations and requirements, where use of Office 365 Government is appropriate to meet these regulations and requirements. When completing the GCC approval form, please ensure that the customer name on the form is no longer than 50 characters.
