Microsoft Teams Shared Devices for faculty provides a Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing license for certified phones that are not tied to a specific user, but rather are in common areas (lobbies, meeting rooms, employee lounges, etc.).
Microsoft Teams Shared Devices requires additional subscriptions of either Domestic Calling Plan or Domestic and International Calling Plan.
To purchase Microsoft education SKUs, customers must meet the qualifications described in the Microsoft Qualified Education User Definition document. There are separate versions per country or region, and all can be found here.
