Microsoft Viva Topics (Nonprofit Staff Pricing) is an AI-powered solution that mines data stored in Sharepoint and automatically organizes content and expertise across systems and teams into “Topic Pages.” Experts can then further curate these pages to improve topic content. The goal is to elevate employee experience by reducing the amount of time they spend searching for information or attempting to contact subject matter experts. Users can create topics manually or AI can detect and generate topics automatically.
Once a topic is created, AI will update the topic and related resources as it discovers new information. For manually created topics, AI will attempt to add additional content based on the information that is already there. In addition, users can also manually update topic cards and pages to adjust the topic description or highlight new resources and connections. There’s no need to use a separate application or search function—knowledge simply finds the user in the apps that they are already in and using.
NOTE: Customers ordering products designated for Non-profit organizations through the CSP program must first establish a tenant with Microsoft. Non-profit customers who have not already done so are required to go through a quick registration process at
www.microsoft/nonprofit. Once they are approved, they will be assigned a Non-profit tenant and will be eligible to purchase Non-profit designated products.
